Side Forearm Stretch – A Myofascial Stretch from Palm to Shoulder

Myofascial Forearm Stretch
“Is that it?” That’s the first impression that many of my clients have when I demonstrate this exercise. And then when they get into position, the reaction is WOW!
The Side Forearm Stretch, like many Function First exercises is doing much more than appears at first glance.
The benefits of this exercise involve the wrist, elbow, shoulder and even your upper back. Not only a great stretch for the wrist and forearm, this position helps us feel and understand the anatomical connection from the palm of the hand up to the shoulder and chest. Great for any of us spending hours on computer, phones and tablets.
Try it out but proceed slowly because the stretch developed is more than you might expect.
